Customs Help Desk set up in FIEO for settling IGST Refund issues of Exporters

 The Southern regional office of the Federation of Indian Exporters Organization (FIEO) has thanked the customs authorities for setting up IGST refund help desks at FIEO at Chennai, Bengaluru, Cochin, Coimbatore and Hyderabad. Help desk will also be set up at AEPC office at Tirupur.

Dr. A. Sakthivel, Regional Chairman, FIEO-Southern Region thanked CBITC for agreeing to his suggestion.

FIEO Regional Chairman  took up issues of MSME exporters regarding pending IGST refund claims due  to various reasons and it has been decided by  the Board that along with ongoing refund week,  Help Desk at office of FIEO and AEPC will be set up for expatiate resolution of IGST refund related issues.  This help desk will function up to August first.

The Help Desk will handle issues related to all Ports irrespective of the City the exporter is representing. The help desk also provide information related to reason for errors and how to rectify the same etc.  

 While hailing the initiative Dr. A.
