JNPT, the largest container port celebrated
the 69th Republic Day here with great enthusiasm and participation by
employees, their families, school children and with local citizens attending in
large number, says a press release.
Bansal, Chairman-in-Charge was the Chief Guest of the function and hoisted the
national flag in the presence of JNPT employees and local population.
Tri-colour balloons were released in the sky to mark the celebrations and the
spirit of freedom. After the inspection of Parade by Chairman-in-charge, a
March Past was held by the contingents.

has witnessed the growth by support from JNPT employees and all other
mentioned that during 16-17 JNPT handled highest ever container cargo with
the achievement of highest profit. He touched upon the various capacity
addition projects, connectivity projects, infrastructure projects implemented by
JNPT to change the face of container port in India.
