Cochin Port Trust invites EoI from local NGOs to run Jan Aushadhi Store

Cochin Port Trust invites Expression of Interest from the local non-governmental organizations to start a medical store under Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushandhi Pariyojana. 

 Port Trust Hospital will provide the required vacant space as per prevailing rates, terms and conditions of Cochin Port Trust in the premises of the Hospital for running Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushandhi Pariyojana project/store, says a release.

 The party will be responsible for all local / Governmental/ Statutory sanctions and requirements as per the Government Orders.

 The parties will have to pay the rental/water/electricity charges to Cochin Port Trust Hospital at actuals, as per Cochin Port Trust rates.

The Cochin Port Trust will not be responsible for any financial loss/ legal issues connected with the running of the Store.

The party will be responsible to appoint proper staff, maintain stocks and confirm to all statutory requirements.

Interested NGO with their credentials (financial/experience of similar works) may submit their offers in sealed envelope and deposit it in the box (marked medical) provided at the reception section of administrative Building CoPT, up to 31.03.2018.

The above is only an expression of interest and doesn’t commit any undertaking on Cochin Port Trust to accept any offers received.

 The envelops may be captioned “To start the Jan Aushadhi store under PMBJP“and be addressed to Chief Medical Officer, Cochin Port Trust Hospital, concludes the release.

The aim of Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushandhi Pariyojana is to make the medicine available at affordable prices to all, particularly to the poorer sections of the society.
