PM Modi inaugurates iCreate Centre with Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu

A new brilliant chapter in the bilateral relations of India and Israel opened with Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurating iCreate Center at Deo Dholera in Ahmedabad. The ambition of PM Modi to rope in young innovators to contribute to the development of the country has been translated into a glorious reality.

This historic event underscores the harmony of relationship that binds the two countries.

Giving a touch of genuine involvement, the two Prime Ministers visited an exhibition at the venue and interacted with the innovators and entrepreneurs.

The encouragement of the young innovators gained an edge of sharp appeal when the two leaders happily awarded 6 category winners of the India Israel Innovation Challenge 2017. These include 2 challenges each in agriculture, healthcare and water.

Addressing the gathering, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the Government is working towards making the entire system as innovation friendly so the power of intent can be ideas and from ideas will flow innovation and the strength of innovation is New India.

Prime Minister Netanyahu later gifted PM Modi the Gal-Mobile desalination van through video link. It is the same van on which the two Prime Minister rode during PM Modi's visit to Israel. The van can purify 20,000 litres of sea water a day. Tapping the potential from all over the world, icreate aims to develop an ecosystem in India which may be able to generate large quantity of quality entrepreneurs.
