Luxury Cruise liner M.V.
COSTA NEO CLASSICA arrived at Mormugao Port on 23rd November
from Colombo, Sri Lanka with 1206 high end guests and
573 crew members. The cruise ship was berthed
at the Cruise berth terminal on its arrival and the guests were given a warm
traditional welcome by the Officials of the Goa Tourism and
Development Corporation. Goan folk dances, and music with a
live brass band in attendance presented colourful facets
of Goan culture at the cruise terminal.
The cruise liner arrived with high end guests
from Italy (391), France (179), Germany (303), Austria(54), Switzerland
(86), Russia(48), Brazil(41), Dutch(38), Danish(38),
Spain(29), as well as from USA, Argentina, Belgium, Canada and Australia.
The visitors were taken for a sight-
seeing tour of Goa’s famous tourists locations of churches,
temples, beaches in the north and south Goa, spice
gardens, Panjim city etc. The ground arrangement for sight-seeing
tours was handled by M/s. ITB. Luxury coaches and tourists taxis
were at the disposal of the visiting guests to take them around sight-seeing in
M. Baxi & Co., were the Shipping Agents for the cruise liner and
handled all the ground logistics thereby making the short stay of the visiting
guests a memorable experience. The cruise liner sailed
to Mumbai port later in the evening. The next cruise liner
is expected to arrive at Mormugao Port on 29thNovember
