5 Day Entrepreneurship Workshop concludes at MPT

The first   5 day ‘Aspiring Entrepreneurs Workshop’ from 14th to 19th August 2017 organized by  ‘I Create India’ in association with Mormugao Port Trust at their HRD Centre for  the enterprising men and women in Vasco and Mormugao to motivate them to take up entrepreneurship  concluded on 21st August 2017. Shri I. Jeyakumar, IRTS, Chairman MPT graced the function as the Chief Guest and distributed Certificates to all the participants in the workshop. Prizes were also presented to the winners who took part in the competition organized during the Workshop, says a release.

Addressing the participants and complementing them, the Chairman Shri I. Jeyakumar said ‘I congratulate all the participants who have attend the 5 day entrepreneurship workshop and benefited from the same.    This is a small endeavour from our end, and our main aim is to be a catalyst in society.  Carry on your job with passion, if you are successful others too will follow you and become prosperous. MPT will support you in your enterprising efforts by promoting your products through our society outlets. MPT will also set up an ‘Incubation Cell’ in our premises to facilitate entrepreneurship.  This will facilitate you to conduct your activities once a week at the Incubation Cell and to share your ideas’. 

Participants in the workshop shared their views on the 5 day entrepreneurs workshop. ‘We have learnt a lot  from the ‘I Create India’ team on the various aspects of starting and running an enterprise, right from starting, marketing, managing and financial management. The workshop has helped us by imparting knowledge on the fundamentals of business enterprise’ said a representative of the ‘Jyoti Masala’ a self help group enterprise.

Shri Siddarth Satardekar,  an entrepreuneur and successful businessman  from Vasco da Gama,  who was a special invitee at the function stated that  some of the fundamentals taught by ‘I Create India’  at the entrepreneurship workshop are the same  that are taught for the MBA programme, the only difference is, here it was taught free without any charge.

Shri J.B. Dhawale, Secretary MPT also addressed the participants and thanked the I Create India Team for their efforts. The proceedings were coordinated by Shri Manish Gosalia, Regional Director, I Create India, and profusely thanked the Chairman of MPT for his vision, initiative and support in providing an opening to the aspiring entrepreneurs from Vasco and Mormugao to realize their dreams. Shri Ravi Sancoalkar, one of the participants at the workshop proposed the vote of thanks.
