Adani mobile healthcare launched

In an attempt to reach the doorsteps of people living in the close vicinity of Dhamra port, a state-of-the-art mobile healthcare has been dedicated to villagers of Dhamra, Tihidi, Chandbali and Bhadrak blocks.

A well-equipped mobile healthcare van by Adani Foundation & Helpage India was inaugurated by Bhadrak District Collector Gyanaranjan Das, at District Headquarter.

This well-equipped mobile health care van comprising an expert doctor, paramedics staff and a social protection officer aims to facilitate primary health care facilities in the remote villages of Bhadrak district.

 Apart from providing diagnostic and treatment facilities, the vehicle will move around the villages on regular basis and in every week to provide health care services to the patients and free medicines for various diseases will be also provided to them. In some special case, the patients will be referred to District Chief Medical Officer. Identification of malnutrition among children will be also undertaken through this programme.

On this occasion, Bhadrak Sub-Collector Narottam Behera, Dhamra Port Chief Executive Officer Subrat kumar Tripathy, Corporate Affairs Head Meeth Meheta, Dhamra Port Company Limited CSR Head Pravat Kumar Mishra, DPCL Land acquisition officer Suryakant Padhee, IR Department DGM Mihir Kar, Corporate Communications Deputy Manager Subhashish Mishra, CSR staff, Helpage India’s Bharti Chakra were present amongst others.
