India has declined to comment on the Pakistan cabinet's decision go back on
its decision to import limited quantities of sugar and cotton from India.
Responding to questions external affairs ministry spokesperson said the
question should not be addressed to us indicating that India has no role in the
matter.
IN a volte face Pakistan cabinet decided to overrule a commerce ministry
panel's decision to import cotton and five lakh tons of sugar from India ending
the trade blockade between the two countries since 2019.

with India when it scrapped article 370
Pakistan foreign minister was quoted as saying his country could not resume
trade relations with India till normalcy is restored in Jammu and Kashmir. Pakistan
had banned trade with India since 2019 when article 370 conferring special
status to Kashmir was scrapped. |
